FRENCH ONION DIP

Serves 24

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup olive oil
4 medium yellow onions, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt, plus one pinch
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Leave from 2 sprigs fresh thyme
2 cups plain 2% Greek yogurt
Freshly ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS
1. Caramelize onions. Once done, add garlic and stir until you can smell the garlic.

2. Turn off heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and then stir in thyme. Let cool.

3. Mix cooled onions and yogurt in a bowl until blended. Stir in several turns of freshly ground black pepper. Add salt to taste.

TIP: Garnish with thyme sprigs and serve surrounded by your dippers of choice. Make the day before and keep well-covered in refrigerator until serving.
